MUKTI
INDIAN MANDALA
One, as a human, might desire successful life with no limits to fame, financial stability and respect. While every animal, might wish to feed itself and it’s family on day-to-day basis. This thought never occurred to me before I came across Garud Purana, one of the 18 Mahapurana in Hinduism, which talked about how a soul can attain Nirvana. The book, I’d say, ‘rectified’ my opinions on life. Since then, I believe that at the end of the time, every soul needs to be freed from the cycle of reincarnation which is as vital as a living creature wanting to spend a great life.

‘Mukti’ or Freedom depicts the total extraction of cycle of reincarnation a soul has to go through, as explained in Garud Purana. As seen, the shape of this Mandala is not a full circle, backing that attaining Moksha (Nirvana) has levels to cross and will not be granted right after a soul completes one cycle of life. Based on all the actions performed by the soul in a life, its either promoted to the next stage, which is much more beautiful and welcoming or is made to live another life to even out all its sins.
